Hooking

Most of all, the lynx likes to hunt hares from ambush: it lies down on a deadfall, sometimes stretches on a thick windfall near the animal trail and waits for the victim. When the distance to the prey becomes minimal, the lynx tries to catch up with it in a few jumps.
