The wolf is a sacred animal in the culture of many Eurasian peoples. Most Turkic peoples have their own legend about the forefather-wolf or about the upbringing of the ancestor of the tribe by wolves. One of the legends tells about a white (in other cases blue) wolf-the ancestor of the Mongol tribe, whose most famous ruler will be Temujin, aka Genghis Khan-the conqueror of half of all Eurasia.
