If in most transsurealis- tic works of A.Semushin the main mean of expres- sion is color, and the image is important, but it is secondary, in this work, on the opposite, it is exactly the image that plays the main role. Horses of A.Semushin are stylized. But, despite of the fact that separate figures are painted with different level of abstrac- tion, the unity of composi- tion is not lost. At the same time, stylizing helps the artist to express special characteristics of images. Sophisticated plastics, smooth and elegant lines make horses images, or, it is more suitable to say gee-gees, some refined mannerism. If to say about plot, additional intrigue is given by the winged Pegasus in centre. The painting is worked out in contrast red and black colors, that determines its special graphic classiness.
