Biography

Mostyaeva Nadezda
was born in the Moscow region, graduated from Udelnicheskaya School of Art. In 1979 graduated from the K.I. Skryabin Moscow State Academy of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology. Later worked for the factory of arts where she was involved in the production of visual aids for agricultural educational institutions. Since the end of the 80s Mrs Mostyaeva has worked as an animalist painter. The favorite subjects of her paintings have been the Borzoi dogs and the Arabian horses. In 1993 Mrs Mostyaeva’ s drawings were used for the design of “The Russian Borzoi 1943-1993” studbook.
Since 1997 Mrs Mostyaeva has been a regular participant of various art exhibitions. In 2003 she became a member of the Russian Artists’ Union. Mrs Mostyava’s paintings of the famous Borzoi, greyhounds and Arabian horses, including those belonging to the members of royal families, are now to be found in the private collections around the world.
