The Art Nouveau building of the Lenkom Theater looks very beautiful at sunset and at dusk. It was built for the Merchant Club in 1909 by the architect Illarion Ivanov-Shitz and his assistant Vyacheslav Oltarzhevsky. After the revolution, the building was occupied by the political club "House of Anarchy", and since 1932 it has been serving as a theater.
