Evening in Arbat-Street

Study by nature.
I worked on Arbat street for many years. Sometimes, in between painting portraits, she painted the perspective of the street. This time I managed to capture the moment of my favorite time of the day: the sun has set, but it is still not dark, and the lights are already on. A colleague, an Arbat artist, "caught in the frame", painstakingly paints a girl who painstakingly poses, frozen in a difficult pose: straightening her back and turning her head to him.
The work is inserted into a vintage frame and blue passepartout.
The size in the frame is 52x62 cm.
