The sea near Alicante

Painting of the first in this trip sea etude was not without an emergency. I started work, and then the wind from the sea grew stronger. On the one hand, he decorated the waves with lush foam laces, and on the other… It ruthlessly filled up with sand the palette, the colors and the sketch. Its a pity there was a spoiled sheet of 100% cotton paper from Fabriano… I finished barely..
In the evening under the tap, I washed the palette and paint.. But the sketch remained rough to the touch from adhering sand.
