The Royal Cathedral of St. Francisco the Great was built and decorated in neoclassical style in the second half of the 18th century. Currently, the Cathedral of St. Francisco the Great plays the role of the Spanish national pantheon, in which prominent figures of national culture and prominent statesmen are buried.
