Biography

Kotunov Dmitry Yurievich was born in 1974. During grade school he took supplemental art classes at the Saint Petersburg Children School of Arts No 02. Later he studied at the High School No 190 affiliated with the Mukhina Academy. In 1998 he graduated from Saint Petersburg State Art and Industry Academy named after Mukhina (now named after Baron Stieglitz) with a major in Design. For nearly twenty years his works have been exhibited in art galleries across Saint Petersburg. Many of his pieces are included in private collections both in Russia and abroad. Saint Petersburg is the focus of much of Kotunov's art.
