Biography
Welcome! My name is Alexander; I was born in 1963. I live in Kazakhstan. I’ve been drawing since childhood—I used to climb onto the roof of our house with a sketchbook and draw what I saw. In the army (I served at Baikonur), I drew wall newspapers and designed display boards. After the army, I worked at the Rodina Central Cinema (Taldykorgan), where I painted large movie posters featuring the main characters, etc. Later, I worked as a graphic designer at a shoe factory. After work, I painted oil paintings on various themes. I am currently retired and paint at home, mainly using oil. Whenever possible, I exhibit my work at exhibitions, fairs, and shopping malls. My portfolio features landscapes of Kazakhstan; I prefer to go on plein air trips and paint outdoors, taking in everything around me.
