Biography
About the artist. Vyacheslav Pavlovich Ivanov was born in 1957 in Troitsk, Chelyabinsk region, and later moved with his parents to Vitebsk, where he spent his school years.
He received his special education at the Leningrad State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin.
Vyacheslav Pavlovich Ivanov moved to Paris in the mid-1990s. He was one of the most popular artists in Montmatre. In 2005, he returned to Russia and lives in Moscow. He likes to relax in Crimea and North Ossetia. He is not a member of the unions of artists. He believes that the artist is truly appreciated by the audience. He loves surrealism for its unlimited fantasies.
In 2020, artist Vyacheslav Ivanov felt his eyesight deteriorate and took a creative break. The artist will start painting new paintings after a series of upcoming eye surgeries.
In 2025, after eye surgery, Vyacheslav Ivanov began painting new paintings.
