Biography
Anastasia Kras (Krasnoukhova) is a contemporary artist whose work is based on a solid foundation of academic precision, combining classical techniques with a deep personal vision.
She was born on July 9, 1992, in Nizhnevartovsk, a city surrounded by the vast expanses of Siberia and northern nature, which has inspired her creativity since childhood. From an early age, drawing became not just a hobby, but a true passion that determined her path in life.
In 2014, she received a specialized education, graduating from the Faculty of Arts and Design at Nizhnevartovsk State University (NSU), where she studied painting, composition, and academic traditions in depth. Anastasia's field of activity covers both easel painting and graphic design. In her work, she prefers materials and techniques such as acrylic, watercolor, and pencil, working in the style of classical academicism and realism.
In 2025, the artist moved to Zelenograd, continuing to actively develop her creativity.

I was greatly influenced by Caravaggio with his dramatic chiaroscuro and dark background, like a frame for a living image, the Pre-Raphaelites with their meticulous attention to every detail, pure colors, and complex images, and no less significant for me is the Russian academic school with its ability to find the sublime in simple motifs. "
