Biography

Yulia Vladislavovna Kazmina is a painter and sculptor, born in 1979 in Chelyabinsk. She graduated from the college with a specialization in “Enamel Painting,” which laid the foundation for her professional path. She works with wood and three-dimensional forms, consistently developing her interest in material, structure, and plasticity.

Since 2013, she has run her own studio, “Smekalka,” where she creates original sculptural objects. Her works explore the theme of Slavic mythology, considering it as a source of imagery and contemporary artistic interpretations.

The artist’s works are part of the permanent exhibition “Mythology of Ancient Slavs” at the Yalutorovsk Ostrog Tourist Complex (Yalutorovsk, Tyumen Region).
