Biography

Vladislav Ladygin (1940-2012). An outstanding Soviet-Russian graphic designer, member of the USSR Union of Designers, winner of the VDNH silver medal for design achievements, as well as a painter and draughtsman.

He graduated from MGZPI in the class of People's Artist of the USSR, Academician of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts Alexander Laktionov. From the early 1960s to the mid-1990s, he was a leading artist at the All-Union Art and Decoration Combine Soyuzprodoformlenie. He left a legacy of several hundred paintings and drawings, whose subjects are mainly devoted to the landscapes of central Russia and its nature. The paintings are in private collections in Russia, the USA, Canada, India, Israel, as well as in the family collection.
