Artist Maria Arkadyevna Medvedeva, creative pseudonym Mari Medvedeva
At the moment, Maria lives and works in Moscow and has two higher education degrees under her belt:
- Member of the Professional Union of Artists of Russia;
-Honorary member of the International Academy of Contemporary Arts;
- Member of the Eurasian Art Union;
- Included in the unified art rating, which includes: 1. Russian art rating (unified rating of artists of the 18th–21st centuries who worked, worked or were born on the territory of the Russian Empire, the USSR, “Russian diaspora”, the Russian Federation and the republics of the former Soviet Union);
2. International art rating (world ranking of artists of the 18th–21st centuries who shape the world artistic heritage)
Maria Medvedeva is a regular participant in city, regional, and international art exhibitions, including those held by Unions of Artists. Many exhibition works were awarded diplomas and certificates, and there were awards. Some of the works are in honest collections in Russia.A big role in the initial passion for painting was played by childhood impressions from my grandmother’s stories about the Vasnetsov brothers, who were fellow countrymen and lived in the neighboring area. They painted a church in the village of Chernovskoye in the Kirov region, where I spent my childhood and saw fragments of their frescoes.
He considers the main thing in his creative activity to be reflection in his works and the transmission of emotions, feelings associated with a certain action, movement, flight in the plot of the picture.The desire to convey the sensations of a captured moment to the viewer. It is also important what lies behind the external manifestation - energy, mood, state, feelings. More subtle experiences than objective perception of reality. Since Maria had hypersensitivity since childhood, the energy component of the work is interesting, observing and experimenting with it, how it affects the viewer.
