Biography

Denis Barsukov

The winner of the nomination "Painting, Design, Arts and Crafts" of the Belarusian Trade Union of Culture.
The art works of the artist are located in collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Museum of Modern Fine Art in Minsk, "Zaslauje" Historical and Cultural Museum-Preserve.
Member of Soviet of Belarusian Union of Designers.
Master of art history.

Denis Barsukov was born in Minsk in 1975.
In 1994 was graduated from the Minsk State Art College named after A. Glebov (specialisation "Painting").

Since 2020 Denis Barsukov has been a freelance artist.
In 2019, 2020 he was a curator of exhibition projects in "LIBRA" showroom, Minsk
2014 - 2018 - a deputy director of the National Center for Contemporary Arts of the Republic of Belarus
2013 - 2014 - a main painter of the State Production and Trade Association "Belkhudozhpromysly"
2011 - 2013 - a main specialist of arts department of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Belarus
2005 - 2011 - a director of the art gallery "University of Culture" (the Palace of the Republic), Minsk

Denis Barsukov took part in more than 70 exhibitions (group and personal) in Minsk, Moscow, Warsaw, Prague, Vilnius, Vienna, Salzburg, Daugavpils, Vitebsk, Baranovichi, and Slutsk.
