Biography

Artist Charyyev Kakajan was born in 1994 in Turkmenistan. In his hometown, he graduated from art school. And in 2014 he came to study in Minsk at the Belarusian National Technical University, which he graduated in 2020 with a degree in architecture and design. After university, the artist realized that painting was much closer to him than designing and began to actively paint in oils. At the moment, Kakajan lives and works in Minsk. In October 2021 he took part in the group republican exhibition-fair "Charouny Mlyn". The artist's paintings are in private collections in the USA, Great Britain, Israel, Turkmenistan, Russia and Belarus.

The artist works in the style of realism. The main subjects of the paintings are animals.
Kakajan wants to show how beautiful animals are in the wild. He is worried about the problem of the extinction of some species of animals, with his paintings he wants to attract the public to this problem. There is a lot of poaching in the world today, it would be great to stop it. The artist encourages people to decorate their homes with paintings of animals, not their skins.

The artist also has a small series of paintings "landscapes" and "women".
