Biography

I am a professional artist from Russia. My name is Igor Eliseev. I have prepared a lot of personal art exhibitions and art projects in Russia and abroad.

In the process of creating my special author's style I have gone through different art directions and have learnt various painting techniques; and now I can use all of them in a perfect way.
As a result of my activities I have made some conceptual collections of paintings: “ Invisible Treasures “, “The Sand Time “, “ The Time of Desires “, “The Sky Domes “, “Magic Carpets “, “ The Sky Sultans “, “ Magic Geometry “. Each collection of paintings is a certain period of time in my life. I have tried to put all my feelings and emotions, all the things that inspired me in that period of time into the creation of these paintings. At the present I continue working on some of these collections adding some new pieces to them. The most complicated part of work is the plot of the painting, its main idea, the concept. You should see this important thing first of all. Then, you will try to reveal it. This can be compared with the diamond. First, you must find a diamond, stone. To see the beauty of a diamond you should cut and polish it. Then a diamond can turn to a precious stone, a brilliant. But each diamond has its own, unique mystery, even if it is already cut and polished. My goal is to find the plot, the concept. The concept of each of my works is very personal. The viewers should have the opportunity to touch my world and thoughts and maybe contribute some new vision and understanding of the main idea. This will only make it shine more brightly. Each painting should become a multi-faceted brilliant where each face has a certain meaning but the inner essence has its own mystery. For my paintings to be understood in a better way I always make detailed descriptions to all of them.

It is also very important for me to see the affect of my works on people's emotions. It would be nice if my reflections and thoughts were understandable. For that reason, I always make my exhibitions as unusual shows using chill out music which inspires me in my work. My exhibitions normally contains video installation with chill out music. This helps to make the audience closer to my personal emotions in the process of my art..
