Biography
PYSHNENKO SERGEY VLADIMIROVICH.
Artist, art designer, author and performer of his own songs. Member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and the International Association of Artists.
Born in 1966 in Leninsk-Kuznetsky. Grew up in a family of artists. Graduated from art school. In 1983 he entered KuzSTU, took an active part in the social life of the student body: painted scenery for performances of the student theater, posters.
Since 1991 he worked in a book publishing house as an artist-illustrator.
Illustrated several dozen books (mostly classics: L. Tolstoy, I. Bunin, E. Hemingway, V. Aksenov, G. Markov, etc., as well as children's literature). Since 1992, within the framework of the publishing house, he began to work on computer graphics, development of trademarks, signs and logos. At the same time, he painted.
In February 2005, a personal exhibition of works was held in the Kemerovo Regional Museum of Local History, which immediately gathered around itself the most diverse layers of society and acquired a traveling character. The exhibition of paintings visited many galleries, halls of libraries, theaters, business institutions of Siberia.
Since 2009, he lives and creates in Novosibirsk. He is engaged in painting, design, book illustration.
The artist's creative credo is "a picture with meaning", poetry in painting. The works are not just illustrations of nature or plots, they are a kind of stories, tales. They make the viewer think, reflect, be it the theme of fairy tales, the creation of the World or spiritual themes.
