Biography
Born in 1978 in Taganrog, he received his foundational training in painting at the Taganrog Children's Art School under Leonid Stukanov. He developed his style while working on urban scenes outdoors. Since picking up watercolor for the first time, he abandoned all other pursuits and travels with his easel. Watercolor and urban landscapes are the only medium and genre in which the artist works. He is the autor of the educational online project for artists, "Theory and Practice of Urban Landscape in Watercolor." His works are held in private collections in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, England, Italy, the USA, and the Museum of Modern Art in Rostov-on-Don. The largest collection of his works—160 landscapes—is owned by a private collector in Brest, Belarus.
