Biography

Painter. These days paint in a figurative abstract.
Her artworks are in private collections in many countries in Europe and USA.

Elinor graduated "Oryol State University", Russia, with a second academic degree in art and graphics (M.A).
In 1990 Immigrated to Israel and these days a member of Israeli plastic artist's association.

Elinor participate in many exhibitions such as "Art en capital" at the "Grand Palais" museum and "Business Art" at "Pierre Cardin's salon de art" (Paris). Her artworks also took part in many exhibitions all around the world: Israel, USA, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Kazakhstan and many more.

"Elinor Brodsky was born in Ukraine and specialized in art and graphic design. Her education is strongly expressed in her artworks. She paints allegoric figures of musicians and makes connections between human bodies and musical instruments. Her paintings bear a resemblance to Shagall's paintings of musicians, with special attention to body language of the figures. Most of the symbols in her artworks are connected to associative codes that add romantic garnet to her paintings. A woman with large bouquet of flowers, parity in moonlight, dinner around a table, all of these are expressions of nostalgia that came to the background of the artwork by squares of very detailed painting, special attention to faces, parts of structures, big and dramatic collage of human cards that are connected to circle of life. Human bodies in Elinor's paintings are expanded in their dimensions and confronted with shrunken heads, highlighting this way the bulk that creates a new dynamic of body motions with her own original creativeness."
