Biography
Dunya Spark is a contemporary artist based, Russia, working within the field of contemporary art.
She has been drawing since childhood, first studying at an art school and later gaining experience as a wall newspaper editor and designer of various events. This early practice shaped her sense of composition, color, and visual storytelling.
In 1989, she graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Her technical education influenced her way of thinking, bringing structure, rhythm, and a sense of balance into her artistic practice, while her work remains deeply intuitive and emotionally driven.
Today she works with acrylic and palette knife, creating textured paintings that explore the relationship between a woman and a man, human beings, urban space, and nature. In her works, the strict geometry of the city merges with soft organic forms, reflecting the human search for inner balance.
Her artistic path has developed outside formal academic art education, guided by personal experience, observation, and continuous practice.
