Biography
Lyubov, an artist and decorator from Krasnodar, works with mirrors as a medium of contemporary art and as a tool for exploring consciousness.
Her style lies at the intersection of contemporary decorative art, conceptual symbolism, and mixed media. Her paintings are created using a mixed technique: acrylic, textured materials, potal, epoxy resin, and fragments of real mirrors cut by hand.
Her works are multi-layered objects where light becomes a full-fledged participant in the composition. Mirror elements are embedded in the composition and filled with resin, forming a lens layer that distorts, deepens, and activates the reflection. The work begins to interact with the environment and the viewer, drawing them into the space of the work.
At the center of her artistic research is the phenomenon of reflection as a form of self-knowledge.
The mirror in Lyubov's works is:
the boundary between the external and the internal
the point of encounter between a person and themselves
a tool for revealing hidden states
The works explore the themes of inner maturity, strength through awareness, impulse control, and transformation through the destruction of the old form.
Each work is created as a single copy and cannot be repeated.
In November 2025, the painting “The Breakdown of Illusions” took 2nd place among 120 works in a professional mirror art competition.
In February 2026, the artist was awarded a diploma and a cup in the “Expert of the Year 2026” nomination in the annual project “Beautiful Stories of Beautiful Women” in Krasnodar.
An author's publication featuring her works will soon be released in the magazine Sfera.
Lyubov sees her artistic mission as creating paintings that remind people of their inner strength, reveal their hidden potential, and reinforce qualities that are already within them: confidence, calmness, and the courage to be themselves.
Although her journey in art began less than a year ago, Lyubov's works already reflect a bold search, conscious experimentation, and the formation of her own artistic language.
She is currently developing her personal brand, planning to participate in exhibitions, and actively expanding her audience through online platforms and social networks.
