Completed work on the painting "Museum walkslover". The time period of the painting process covered more than thirty years. I started writing the plot while studying in the first years of the Ryazan Art College. G.K. Wagner. At that time, our teacher was the Honored Artist of Russia Viktor Vasilyevich Korsakov. He taught composition classes and set students the task of painting a picture of the interior of the Ryazan State Regional Art Museum. I.P. Im sorry.
My group of classmates and I made several sketches of the museum’s halls from life. Later I came up with the idea of depicting a museum at night. He painted a picture and showed it to the teachers of the Ryazan Art School. Viktor Vasilyevich, having seen it, gave me the highest score at the screening, telling the teachers and students: “Akindinov is the best composer in the school.” At this point, the first stage of work on the painting was completed. At that time, I didn’t think that I would return to work on Midnight at the Museum (the first title of the film). The canvas hung on the wall in my studio all this time. Over the course of three decades, the old subframe shrunk in size. Craquelure appeared in the picture.
He returned to the canvas in 2022, restored it, sewed up the edges of the canvas, stretched it onto a new stretcher and introduced the child into the composition, took his childhood photo from a family album. The entire surface of the plot was covered with small ornaments, hand-painted with the finest brush. I recreated the painting in the style of ornamentalism I invented in 1996. The composition was diversified by light curtains on the windows fluttering in the wind. In the plot, I supplemented the museum halls with paintings that look like mirrors and portholes, they are like portals to parallel worlds, and the boy is a mysterious traveler in the multidimensionality of space and time, the discoverer of new universes.

In reality, the painting was first presented at the reporting Regional collective art exhibition "SPRING-2024" in the Exhibition Hall of the Ryazan State Regional Art Museum named after. I.P. Im sorry. The opening took place on May 18 at 16.00. The vernissage presented 185 works by 98 authors, 54 of whom are members of the Union of Artists of Russia and other creative organizations of Ryazan and Moscow. The exhibition included such types of art as: painting; graphic arts; icon; folk and arts and crafts. By an interesting coincidence, the opening of the exhibition took place on International Museum Day. The theme of my painting “Museum Gulen” coincides with this holiday. The exhibition takes place at the address: Ryazan, st. Yesenina 112, and will last until June 16.
