Biography
I am Olga Gladkova, an artist whose creative journey has been imbued with the spirit of various corners of Russia. My life’s geography—from my hometown of Tomsk through the expanses of the Amur region, the majestic St. Petersburg, and the dynamic Moscow—has shaped my perspective on the world. Today, I live and create my works in the picturesque Krasnodar Krai, where the warmth of the southern sun is reflected in my new themes.
My style is characterized by naive art with elements of decorative painting. At the heart of my work lies the human figure and its invisible yet profound connection to nature and the animal kingdom.
I explore themes of emotional balance, tactility, and trust. My characters are images frozen in a moment of serene contemplation. In terms of technique, I prefer acrylic on canvas.
My art has been tested through live interactions with the audience. I have actively participated in popular art markets in St. Petersburg and Moscow, where my works resonated with connoisseurs of original illustration and intimate painting. Additionally, my paintings have been showcased in several independent art spaces in these cities.
My works carry a powerful charge of tranquility, comfort, and gentle melancholy. In a world where we are constantly rushing, my paintings serve as "islands of silence." They are created to restore a sense of harmony to the viewer, reminding us of the importance of simple touches and the warmth of living beings.
My artworks become not just decorations for interiors but emotional anchors. They "breathe" alongside their owners, bringing an atmosphere of sincerity, kindness, and timeless aesthetics into the home. Each painting is a small story that invites you to pause and feel the moment of "here and now."
Welcome to my world, where color and form speak of what truly matters.
