In this work, I aimed to convey a feeling of stillness and immersion — that moment when time seems to pause, and the world dissolves into gentle color transitions.
Through the turquoise-aquamarine mist, a female face appears. It seems woven from light and water — soft features gradually blend into the surroundings, yet the gaze remains clear and captivating. The eyes, with golden-green highlights, become the focal point, drawing all attention.
I chose a cool palette — shades of turquoise, azure, and aquamarine with subtle gray-brown and green accents. Smooth transitions of color create a meditative atmosphere, while the translucent texture of the canvas adds a sense of living breath.
For me, this is more than a portrait — it is an image of the spirit of water, a quiet moment in which one can hear their own heart.
