The painting depicts a sunny coastal landscape of a southern city.

In the foreground we see tiled roofs of houses painted in rich terracotta-red tones. The white walls of the buildings create a bright contrast with the dense greenery of the trees and bushes, among which are visible flowering plants with pink inflorescences.

In the center of the composition rises an ancient stone fortification, reminiscent of the rich history of the city. Further, beyond the coastline, a spacious sea of deep azure color opens up. On the horizon, the outlines of green hills and white silhouettes of yachts or ships are visible.

The sky is painted in calm gradients: from a gentle light shade at the horizon to a pure blue at the top, which enhances the feeling of a clear summer day.
