Biography

She was born on July 4, 1977 in Crimea in the family of an artist.
Member of the Union of Artists of Russia.
2007 – diploma from the Crimean Art College named after N. S. Samokish.
2016 – Diploma from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts.
2024 – Master's degree from the Crimean University of Culture, Arts and Tourism.

Vera Chekanova paints a lot, enthusiastically – landscapes, complexly conceived still lifes, portraits. And he writes beautifully. Confident, colorful, and colorful. The main themes in his work are "motherhood", "childhood", "Crimean landscape". The painting has been presented at numerous exhibitions (more than 50) in various cities of Russia.: Moscow, Kotlas, Veliky Ustyug, Kazan, Yelabuga, Derbent, Simferopol, Kerch, Yalta, etc. The works are in museums, in private domestic and foreign collections.
