Marduk

Babylonian priests of the middle of the first millennium BC declared all deities to be incarnations of Marduk:

Ninurta - Marduk of agriculture;
Nergal - Marduk of death, the underworld and war;
Zababa - Marduk of hand-to-hand combat;
Enlil - Marduk of power and advice;
Sin - Marduk, the luminary of the night;
Shamash - Marduk of justice;
Adad - Marduk of rains.
Written sources report on Marduks wisdom, his art of healing and his spell-casting power; the god is called "judge of the gods", "lord of the gods" and even "father of the gods". Along with the goddess-healer Gula, he was endowed with the ability to resurrect the dead.
