The Golden Perforation of Existence or the "Punch Card of Life"?
On a lime-green field of infinite potential, charged with the energy of spring and growth, the golden "Punch Card of Life" soars upward. It is a visual philosophy, a coded manifesto of human existence, where abstraction becomes a mirror for the most complex concepts of fate, time, and choice.
The punch card itself, executed in gold, is simultaneously a symbol of the highest value, a reference to ancient artifacts, and a metaphor for the unique, precious code with which every life is endowed. Holes-Years: the Palette of the Past and the Pulse of the Future.
The core of the image are the multicolored holes. Each one represents a year. Each one represents an event, an emotion, a choice, pain, or joy, leaving its mark on the golden plate of existence. The gamut of colors represents the gamut of human experience: scarlet passions and losses, blue depths of reflection and peace, sunny yellow moments of happiness, emerald shoots of hope, violet secrets. The years lived are not simply empty spaces; they are meaningful slits against a bright background of possibilities, giving them volume and meaning.
With this work, I ask: Are we programmed? Or are we the programmers of our own destiny, punching new holes through our personal choices?
My new painting is not an object on the wall. It is an interface for reflection, inviting each viewer to try to read their own code, to see the palette of their past, and to consider the color of the holes they must punch—and fill—in the golden plate of their own destiny on the eternally youthful, light green field of existence.
