Biography

My name is Olga Mednikova. I was born in Russia in 1984, and I currently live in India, where I draw inspiration from the vibrant colors of this beautiful country. I am a dedicated self-taught artist because I cannot imagine spending my time without art.
I have created over 50 works and have no intention of stopping. I consider myself a versatile artist, as I enjoy working in various styles, including realism, naïve art, abstraction, and modernism. My preferred mediums are acrylic and watercolor, and I am also passionate about creating sketches.
The paintings I create are realistic, vibrant, and filled with emotions that reflect my love for life and the world around me. Every piece I create is imbued with my deep appreciation for art and my unique perception of this world.
There are two main themes and sources of inspiration in my work: the inner world of people and nature. Sometimes these themes intertwine, resulting in fascinating fantasy compositions; other times, I approach them directly or place them in different cultural contexts.
I am continually learning and improving by taking courses in various art schools, such as "Find Yourself" and "VsemART."
To date, I have participated in an exhibition in India in 2024 in Delhi. My works are part of private collections in both India and Russia. While I have successfully sold my art offline, I am now eager to bring my works to a larger audience online.
