The Awakening

A small, expressive painting depicting thickets by the water — juicy leaves through which light breaks through.

The focus is on the fresh greenery, as if illuminating the wilderness from the inside. This work conveys the power of natures awakening and an inspiring sense of secluded beauty.

I was inspired to write this work by the rare spring flowers of Kamchatka — lisichitons, which are just blooming.

The painting is made in acrylic on a 20x20 cm canvas, carefully drawn and varnished. It is ideal for lovers of nature, tranquility and forest aesthetics.
