Biography
Diana Samoilova was born on February 2, 2000 in the city of Omsk.
From 2006 to 2008 she attended the art studio at the Omsk House of Artists. The first personal exhibitions were held within the walls of the kindergarten and gymnasium. From 2012 to 2016 she studied at Children's Art School No. 1 named after. Saninykh, teacher E.N. Chebaeva. From 2018 to 2023 she received higher education at the Faculty of Arts of Omsk State Pedagogical University; Teachers: A.A. Bazhenov, E.V. Skripnikova, G.S. Baymukhanov. Thesis: a picturesque series of city landscapes “Life of Lyubinsky Prospekt” (3 parts), oil on canvas, 65*90 cm, supervisor G.S. Baymukhanov.
Since 2016, he has been a regular participant in city, regional, interregional, All-Russian and International art exhibitions.
2019 - Personal exhibition “Games of a Lonely Child”.
2021 - Personal exhibition “In the transcendental ether”.
From 2022 is a teacher at Omsk State Pedagogical University.
2023 – Defense of the final qualifying work on the topic: Development of coloristic vision among children’s art school students using the example of a city landscape.
2023 – A great creative journey across Russia: Omsk – Elbrus.
Since 2024 - candidate of the Union of Artists.
2024 – International plein air “Colors of Siberia”, o. Olkhon, Baikal.
2024 – Curator and main organizer of the All-Russian youth exhibition “Art of Tomorrow”.
The works are stored: In private collections in Russia, Ireland, Saudi Arabia. In museums: “Center for the Study of the History of the Civil War” (Omsk).
Creative trips: Crimea, Caucasus (Elbrus region), Baikal (Olkhon Island).
Problems of creativity: childhood, loneliness, small Motherland and Russia, woman, irrationality through the image of a tree, the inner world and spiritual path of a person, spring and freedom.
