Anna Pershneva: An artist fascinated by the spirit of the steppes
Anna Sergeevna Pershneva, born in the Magadan region, is an artist whose work is imbued with the spirit of the great steppes. Her path to art began in childhood, when she graduated from a children's art school in 1992. Then, with a deep interest in architecture, Anna entered the Rostov Academy of Architecture and Arts, receiving a diploma in architecture in 2008.
However, despite a successful career in architecture, Anna's artistic passion did not fade. In 2019, inspired by pastel hyperrealism works she saw online, she picked up crayons again. From that moment on, Anna devoted herself to painting, becoming especially interested in the historical genre.
Her paintings are not just images, they are the embodiment of the spirit of the great steppes that captured her imagination. It depicts mighty hills, boundless expanses, nomadic peoples, with their unshakable will and traditions. In each painting by Anna, the history, traditions and spirit of nomadic peoples are intertwined with the talent of the artist.
In 2023, Anna Pershneva joined the National Union of Pastel Artists, which became another step in her creative path. She actively participates in exhibitions, sharing her art with the world, which revives the spirit of the great steppes on canvas.
