Filov Dmitry Alexandrovich Is A Crimean Artist
He was born in 1953 in Leningrad.
1970-1972 - studied at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute. 1972-1976 graduated from Simferopol State University with a degree in physics engineering.
He has been engaged in painting since 1970, and professionally since 1978.
Technique – canvas/ oil.
In Simferopol, he studied with teacher Elena Vladimirovna Heinz (1972-1976).
1976-1977 he worked as a teacher of physics, mathematics, drawing and art culture in the village of Rovnoye, Krasnogvardeisky district of the Crimean region.
1978-1979. studies and work at the Simferopol Art College.
In 1987, he became one of the founders of the Crimean Association of Contemporary Art.
Dmitry Filov is a prominent representative of the original artistic direction "Crimean cosmism". According to the artist, Crimea is one of the points of the planet Earth closest to Space, as a concentration of connections and community of all things. Filov's goal is to tune in to the energy of these connections, transform it through oneself, integrate into the chain of cosmic patterns in an attempt to put his own, albeit modest contribution to the scales of creation, unification, goodness, by creating paintings working in this direction.
In 2015, he was accepted into the All-Russian creative public organization "Union of Artists of Russia".
He participated in many art projects, prestigious exhibitions, and held more than 30 solo exhibitions,
Today, Dmitry Filov's works, after successful metropolitan and a number of foreign exhibitions, are exhibited and acquired by various museums, galleries and private collections. His paintings occupy an honorable place among the works of old masters and modern artists in many cities and countries.
