Silver Kailash

Kailash is the sacred peak of four religions: Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Bon. Its amazing pyramidal shape with edges oriented exactly to the cardinal points is considered the abode of the gods. In ancient Tibetan manuscripts, the peak is called “Precious Snow Mountain”; for Hindus it is the mystical Center of the Universe, a sacred place that has an amazing effect on human destiny.
According to local beliefs, if you go around Kailash with sincere and bright thoughts (perform kora), you can clear the karma of several past lives.
