Biography

Nice to meet you, my name is Armina. I am an artist, graphic designer and illustrator.

1. I have been engaged in fine art since I was 4 years old and to this day.
2. I have a higher art education in the field of academic painting and drawing.
3. I have both hands in painting. The left and right hands equally take part in the creation of paintings, both on common spots and decorative elements.
4. Sometimes I write with my eyes closed when I want not only to see, but also to feel.
5. I comprehend the sumi-e technique myself. This is the path that I want to follow without mentors, taking into account only personal experience, through trial and error. I do not want to be an extension of the teacher, it is valuable for me to preserve my individuality, gaining experience and comprehending mastery through my own conclusions.
6. Working in the technique of monochrome painting, I meditate, become a brush, a stroke, a spot, a sound.
7. I write without nature, each of my works is pure fiction and living fantasy. The environment I'd like to be in right now.
8. I study nature while traveling or walking in the woods. I can stare at a branch or falling shadows for a long time.
9. In the process, at work, I listen to the chirping of birds. The sounds of nature help to see the image more clearly.
10. The sun and birds are present in most of my works. They are iconic symbols in my painting. The sun represents warmth, light, vitality and reunion with loved ones. Birds are a symbol of life, joy and happiness, the presence of the soul.
11. Sometimes, when I write my works in absolute silence, I hear birds chirping in my head, bamboo branches touching each other in the wind or water murmuring.
12. My approach to painting is extraordinary, I like to paint some elements of the composition with my eyes closed, so I see and feel more. Sometimes I write with both hands at the same time. Sometimes a random spot creates an image.
13. My professional activity is a graphic designer and illustrator. For more than 10 years, my husband and I have been creating designs, from logo and branding, to key visual for event events with global brands.
14. I have been practicing raw food for 8 years, I have experience of starvation. The longest fasting lasted about 2 months. This is a tremendous experience that opened my eyes to many things, and the truth that we used to believe is absolutely contrary to what I managed to find out during all the time of observation and introspection. I'm afraid medicine is silent about many things, or does not know much, and humanity is simply not ready for the truth that it is.
15. I love nature and animals immensely. My home is nature. Forest, ocean, scenic expanses, mountains, rivers, volcanoes and waterfalls. Sunlight, the scent of flowering trees, birdsong. I have an amazing cozy house.
