One of my first major paintings in the grisaille technique. For the first time I tried to work with glass objects with oil, I tried to convey all the vividness of this material, the play of glare and reflexes.
The work turned out to be very light and airy, a pleasant neutral range of colors brings me back to the walls of my native painting workshop at the Theater Institute, where I took my first bold steps in this art.
