This watercolor is inspired by a painting by the Russian portrait artist Konstantin Makovsky. I was very interested in trying to reinterpret his work in watercolor (Makovsky painted his works in oil).
The image is pure, elegant, and festive… a young woman on the threshold of significant life events.
Professional materials were used in this work, including high-quality acid-free paper that will not yellow over time.
To ensure the longevity of the watercolor painting, keep it framed under glass, avoiding direct sunlight and high humidity.
The artwork is carefully and securely packaged for transportation.
