Sometimes inspiration is implicit, it is not clear what it is directed to. So it was that morning: I wanted to portray something fresh and bright, wintry and clean. I was visiting my mother, and she moved into the house of a sprig of shepherdia. I immediately want to image them next to the water. I poured a bowl of water, took the twigs and went outside. I remember how quickly I took photos, because it was cold and the reader was raining. In the end my inspiration found a purpose and a little later I worked on this painting, with the memory of that pleasant afternoon.
