Pumpkin is a female symbol personifying the Great Mother Goddess, the creative force of nature. Even in its shape, the pumpkin is consonant with the feminine principle, where various seeds are inside it, therefore the pumpkin is revered as a symbol of fertility, abundance, prosperity and good health.
