Biography

Elena Lapko was born in 1976 in Rostov-on-Don. Graduated from the Rostov Art College named after M.B. Grekov. She is a graduate of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Pedagogical Institute of the Southern Federal University. She started her exhibition activity in 2001. Since 2008 - Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. She began her creative career as an academic artist. Since 2010, she has been a member of the Performance group Laundry. Since 2014, she has participated in the projects of the Laboratory association. Since 2016, she has been an active member of the Group of Persons project. He is a participant of more than forty exhibitions. Since 2018, she has begun a new creative stage using experimental materials, by means of which she achieves the effect of watercolor and non-handiwork in oil painting. Her works are in many museums, as well as in private collections in different countries.
