Window to Iceland

The plot of the picture is inspired by the work of an Icelandic photographer. The original photo was taken against the background of the canyon, which only takes on a rich emerald color in spring, and is covered with almost black earth for most of the year. The photo shows the flight of a seagull at high shutter speed.

By translating this photo onto canvas, the painting became a window to Iceland for me.
