Biography
Anna Golub was born in the city of Aldan, located in Yakutia, where she spent her childhood surrounded by the wild beauty of the Yakutian landscape. However, she grew up and developed as a person in Omsk, Western Siberia. In Omsk, Anna played in the local theater and was a member of a jazz vocal ensemble.
She received her formal art education at the Surikov Moscow State Art Institute, where she trained as a painter. Anna is also a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (TSKhR).
Her work has been heavily influenced by the Post-Impressionists and Fauves of the early 20th century. She continues to draw inspiration from these movements while expanding on their ideas with a modern interpretation. Her experimental nature, however, occasionally leads her to explore related fields and techniques.
Although Anna prefers oil on canvas, she believes that various materials or their combinations can be used to convey an idea. As a result, her works sometimes incorporate pastels or tempera.
Anna actively participates in exhibitions both in Russia and abroad. Her works can be found in private collections and museums.
