Still together but already apart

The artwork is without subtext and metaphors - everything is obvious. The poses of the man and the woman clearly convey the title of the painting: they seem to be together, on the same bench, still touching shoulders, but already looking in different directions; there is nothing to talk about, or the words are just not mportant ... the environment supports this idea: cloudy and quiet, the sea is calm, the sky is colorless. The faces are intentionally not depicted: they are not important; any couple can find themselves at such point of their relationship.
