Here is a reflection of the idea of the ephemerality of the perception of time and the guess that time is not what it seems. It seems to me that the painting is inspired by the image of a certain object that could be found in some dark and deaf labyrinth of passages of abandoned ruins of a long-vanished civilization. This figure has no equal, subordinate or superior figures. It appears on the canvas as a mono-figure, having only the background as its other side.
