The painting is the first element of a series about the life of the Scandinavian goddess Iduna. The painting depicts Loki in the form of a falcon, at the moment when he returns to Asgard. In his claws he has a nut in which the goddess Iduna is hidden. He is being chased by the giant Tiazzi in the form of an eagle.
