Biography

My name is Yulia Evsyukova. I was born in Stary Oskol. 17 years ago I moved to Moscow.
I'm full-time artist. I have been painting in watercolors every day for 9 years.

* Member of the Union of Watercolorists of Russia and IWS Globe.
* Participant of various international and Russian exhibitions.
* Laureate with a jury mark of the First International Biennale of Watercolors in South Korea "Beauty of Life", 2021

In the past I worked as a journalist and wrote about artists. Then I worked at the Museum of Nicholas Roerich, where I finally realized the need to follow my childhood dream and pick up the brush again. Now painting is my main occupation in life.

I forge my own unique path, mainly through self-education. However, my acquaintance with the harmony of color, form and composition began at the International School of Floral Design "Nicole", where for two years I made many sketches for flower arrangements. Hence my craving for the image of flowers. As for painting and drawing, I take private lessons from professional artists whose aesthetic perception of the world is close to me. One of my teachers teaches at the British School of Design and helps me gain knowledge in the field of animal art.
I also have an interest in book illustration. Two books with my illustrations have been published.
