Calm river

This work was written on an open air in one of the hot sunny days in the small town of Gorokhovets. It depicts the Klyazma River and a view of the monastery. The sun was so hot that my friends and I jumped into the water, because we could no longer draw. I have fond memories of this trip.
I use watercolor on cotton paper. The artwork is not framed
