Rhythms of the Night Nocturne

Rhythms of a Night Nocturne" is a dynamic, almost musical work that conveys the rapid movement of a train through the night.

The center of the composition is a rushing train, its windows glowing with bright squares of light, each of which has its own story: silhouettes of passengers, thoughtful glances flickering in the darkness.

The lead car cuts through the darkness with a powerful spotlight, snatching fragments of the landscape from the gloom: blurred outlines of trees, facades of sleeping cities, a lonely lamppost casting a short shadow on the rails.

The high-speed line is fenced with a metal mesh, its geometric rhythm emphasizes the rapidity of the movement. Everything around is blurred, as if seen from a window at great speed, only the clatter of wheels and the whistle of the wind remain clear, like a bass rhythm in a symphony of the night.

"I was traveling from Moscow to St. Petersburg, lights were flashing outside the window, and suddenly I caught myself thinking that this is not just a road - it is a flow of time. Each passenger is a note, each carriage is a beat, and the train itself is a whole symphony that no one records except at night."

It was written to the sounds of Chopins "Nocturnes" - hence the title.
